Though we are a private collection and NOT a public facility, we occasionally lease our facility out for special events of interest to the community. These events are not sponsored by or operated by Golden Wings Museum.

Discover Aviation Days

Fly in or drive in to this 31^st annual celebration of aviation at the Anoka County Airport. This popular annual fly-in features many aspects of aviation, including aircraft that span Experimental, Homebuilt, Civil, Corporate, Military, WWII and Vintage categories. There will be numerous displays, vendors and exhibitors offering the best in products and food. Interesting and informative FAA pilot safety seminars will take place each day. A pancake breakfast and lunch served each day. There will be kids activities for those younger flyers, and many activities for those just young at heart. Guests are invited to fly in or drive out to the festival. You can also take to the skies by enjoying a Fixed Wing, Helicopter, Bi-Plane or WWII B-25 ride. Be sure not to miss our Golden Wings Museum, which will be open both days.

tribute to them by celebrating the freedoms they fought for

and stand to insure.

~ Evening Hangar Dance ~

Come out to Golden Wings Museum on Saturday June 2nd This 1940's style Hangar Dance features the sights and sounds of Dave Andrew's Big Band. This 14-piece band will bring you back in time to the age of SWING with it's orchestra look and period song selections. Refreshments are available. The doors open at 7pm with music starting at 8pm.
